SEC POWer Season Standings

How season rankings work

  • Playing 8 or more scored weeks qualifies a player for the championship.
  • Once qualified, additional weeks give no automatic ranking advantage.
  • Highest average POWer ranks first among qualified players: Total POWer ÷ scored weeks played.
  • Lowest average tiebreaker margin breaks ties in average POWer. Identical ranking values share a rank.
  • Players below 8 scored weeks rank below qualified players. More weeks played comes first within that group, followed by average POWer and average tiebreaker margin.

D ranks first on average POWer after meeting the eight-or-more-weeks requirement. A beats B on average tiebreaker margin. E has the highest average but has not yet played eight scored weeks.

Tiebreaker Total is the sum of absolute points missed. Average is Total ÷ weeks with a recorded margin. Lower is better; missing margins are excluded from the average, and no recorded margins ranks last within a scoring tie.
